Understand, structure,, deliver.
Three simple phases, none ever skipped. Every TMG Conseil engagement follows them in this order - whatever the field - because no phase works without the other two.
First, listen, observe and read the figures.
An engagement that begins without a diagnosis produces generic recommendations. We always start by mapping reality - interviews with leaders and teams, document analysis, figures and frontline work - to form a shared view of the problem before proposing anything.
Business leaders, teams and external stakeholders.
Existing documents, figures and processes.
Written diagnosis | 15 to 25 pages.
Give it a clear shape before building.
With the diagnosis complete, we design the target. Action plan, organisation model, brand platform or software architecture, depending on scope. This is where defining decisions are made, validated with the business leader, and the next phase is contracted.
The target, not merely the ideal.
Scope, schedule, team and budget.
Validation meeting with the business leader.
Continue through to adoption, not merely delivery.
A TMG Conseil engagement does not end when the document or software is delivered. We support implementation with teams, measure adoption and adjust. Success is not the deliverable itself, but how it is used three months later.
Short sprints and incremental delivery.
Training, onboarding and change.
You can operate independently at the end of the engagement.
A typical engagement over 12 weeks.
Five commitments in our method that do not change.
What you can expect in every engagement. One clear recommendation, never four scenarios to avoid responsibility.
We take a position and stand behind it. Alternatives are documented, not multiplied to dilute responsibility.
The consultant who sold the engagement is the one who leads it.
No senior consultant at scoping followed by a junior sent alone for delivery. The person who commits remains accountable.
Everything we produce belongs to you.
Code, documents and accounts - in your name from day one.
Fixed fee or time-based - always stated in advance.
No disguised contract amendment during the engagement.
A deliverable has value only if it is still used after 3 months.
We return to measure, adjust and hand over. One follow-up review is included, and any adjustment plan is priced before a decision.
About the method, format and commitments.
How long does an engagement take?
Between 6 and 16 weeks for most engagements. Focused diagnostics take 1 to 2 weeks; complete software deployments can take up to 16 weeks. Everything is agreed against a dated schedule before signature, never left open-ended.
Do you work on a fixed-fee or time-based basis?
Both, depending on what serves the project. The Understand phase is almost always fixed-fee. The Structure and Deliver phases may be fixed-fee for a clear scope, or time-based for exploratory work. The model is stated in advance.
What happens if the diagnosis challenges the initial request?
That is precisely why it exists. If the diagnosis concludes that something different is needed, we redefine the scope together - even if that reduces the engagement. Our role is to frame the right problem, not sell the next phase.
Who works on the engagement?
One contact from start to finish, who may draw on a network of named partners such as designers, specialist developers and legal advisers when needed. You always know who does what.
What happens after the engagement?
Three months after completion, we return without additional charge to measure adoption and resolve remaining obstacles. Beyond that point, light remote maintenance can be arranged for delivered software.
