For us, independence means no ownership link with a software vendor, no commission and no dependency on a systems integrator. Our recommendation is free from influence - the only basis on which consulting is useful.
We work across four disciplines because few real problems remain within one. A strategy redesign without governance remains a PDF. A tool without the organisation around it becomes a burden. A brand without operational consistency does not last six months.
We also build our own tools - not from fascination with technology, but because beyond a certain threshold generic SaaS stops fitting reality. When that happens, we are explicit: custom-built, in your name and transferable.
